IACEFT is proud to present the first and only home study certification course specializing in equestrian fitness. IACEFT is strongly committed to high quality standards, and our goal is to improve overall fitness and confidence of the equestrian athlete through the highest caliber of professional personal trainers.

It is amazing how much time and money is spent on training and conditioning horses to be in peak physical condition. However, when it comes to our own physical condition, we often let that fall by the wayside. In order to have a winning combination, both horse and rider need to be in their best physical condition. Equestrians are athletes which can benefit greatly from the help of a personal trainer that understands their needs. IACEFT is the first and only certifying body specializing in personal training specifically for the equestrian athlete.

In lieu of a slower economy the past few years, interestingly enough, both personal training and the equine industry have not shown significant declines in spending. More than $1.5 billion was spent this year on personal trainers. That number is expected to increase. The equine industry continues to prove quite viable at over $25 billion yearly.

The opportunities of being a Certified Equestrian Fitness Trainer are limitless. It completely depends upon the amount of time you are willing to devote to your career. Many personal trainers begin with one-on-one sessions with clients, which typically range in price from $25 - $45+ per half hour, depending on experience and geographical location. Once you are certified, you set your own hours and pricing. Current trainers and riding instructors may use this certification and training to add to their existing knowledge and expand their business. Other fields of interest may include conducting group clinics or seminars at local barns and training stables. IACEFT will help in guiding you through the day-to-day aspects of running your personal equestrian fitness training business, by providing you with contracts, questionnaires, waiver forms, and routines you may use.

Don't wait...become a Certified Equestrian Fitness Trainer today, and join this new field of expertise!
