Q: How long does it typically take to become Certified?
A: Once you receive your course supplies,
it may take anywhere between two weeks and six months to complete the certification course. It depends upon the learning rate
and comprehension level of the individual. Once you've completed the required training materials, you send IACEFT an e-mail
stating that you are ready to take the exam. An exam consisting of multiple choice and three essays will then be e-mailed
back to you. The exam is open book, and there is no time limit on completing the exam; however, if it takes you more than
one year to complete the course and exam, or you receive a score less than 63%, you will be charged an additional $50 administrative
fee to re-take the exam. Therefore, we encourage you to take your time and fully understand the concepts and techniques that
you will be learning

We at IACEFT stand firmly on our own merits. Due to the unique nature of our Organization, we are not
alligned with any one personal training program or specific equine affiliation. We are proud to be pioneering and successfully
representing this new field of promoting equestrian athleticism here in the U.S., as well as Internationally.
